Dear Alumni and Friends,
As I write this, somewhere in the world, a life is being touched by an IUP Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance graduate. Our alumni are teachers in successful public school music programs across the country, professional performers on the world’s concert stages, on the faculties of university music departments, and arts administrators who tirelessly advocate for our art form. They are transforming the world with their talent and creativity.
Generous support from alumni and friends like you can provide scholarships, support academic programs, purchase instructional equipment, fund guest artists, and address other needs to enhance the educational opportunities for current and future students. Although public institutions like IUP receive a significant portion of their funding from state government appropriations and student tuition, these dollars are limited. Private financial gifts have become an essential source of support as we seek to maintain programs and create new initiatives.
