Whether you are just a few years out of college or a working professional wanting to advance your business career while maintaining your job, the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology MBA program will give you the knowledge and skills you need to lead in today's global economy.

When you enroll in our Master of Business Administration program you will:

    • Learn through interacting with faculty and students from a wide array of backgrounds and countries.
    • Broaden your knowledge through casework, group projects, and exploratory research.
    • Get hands-on experience by providing consulting services to small businesses and companies in the community.
    • Experience real-life problem solving that will enable you to excel in the world community.

Your emphasis will be on strategic decision-making in a changing global economy.

You will choose your concentration-accounting, finance, human resources, international business, marketing, or supply chain management-and take that expertise to the global market.

The IUP MBA degree is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business-the gold seal for MBA programs. In terms of return on investment, an MBA from the Eberly College of Business is the most cost-effective MBA program for Pennsylvania residents. International students may qualify for a partial tuition waiver.

    MBA on Main Campus

This MBA program is ideal for recent college graduates, who may or may not have any business experience, and junior level executives.

Your immersion in global business begins the moment you arrive-a large number of MBA students on our main campus are international students from Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa. This is an ideal environment if you are interested in preparing for business in the 21st century.

    Executive MBA Off-Campus

Designed for the working professional who wants to advance his or her career, this MBA is offered in three locations: Pittsburgh East (Monroeville), Johnstown, and our Northpointe campus. With the theme “strategic decision-making in a changing global environment,” the MBA Executive Track program is designed to enhance your analytical, managerial, and decision-making skills. It also gives you an opportunity to build your business network. The program is taught in a cohort format. You will move through your sequence of classes as a group, building a supportive professional and academic network.

Convenience and flexibility are key benefits offered by this program. The hybrid format features 50 percent online learning and 50 percent classroom learning. Depending on where you live, you can choose to attend classes in one of three locations. Whether you are online or on campus, you'll be studying a rigorous business curriculum under the guidance of IUP's faculty.
