Colleen Kopp ’93, Camp Hill, and Carolyn Snyder, Kittanning, are new members of the IUP Council of Trustees. Their appointments by the commonwealth’s governor were confirmed by the Pennsylvania Senate last spring.
In addition, trustees James Miller, Sam Smith, and Gealy Wallwork have all been reappointed to terms on the council. Kopp and Snyder fill council seats formerly held by Kim Lyttle ’72, M’74 and Tim Pulte ’85.
IUP’s president, Tony Atwater, said, “I am delighted to learn of these appointments and reappointments. Each of these trustees brings distinction, dedication, and significant leadership experience to the council. I look forward to working with them to maintain and enhance academic excellence at IUP.
“I also wish to thank Trustee Lyttle and Trustee Pulte for their years of service and dedication as IUP trustees,” Atwater said. Lyttle was a trustee for twenty-four years and Pulte for six.
