During this difficult time, we understand the less you need to worry about, the better. At the IUP Libraries, we're making efforts to offer peace of mind about small worries, like returning library books you have checked out. Leading the effort to keep the process smooth and simple is our Circulation Services day supervisor, Joyce Piper.

Piper and her team are working to make sure your book due dates are the least of your concerns by extending due dates, responding to your questions and concerns over email, and making sure there are ways (like the book drop near the Stapleton Library front doors) for you to return books if you have the opportunity.

Currently, all regular IUP library book due dates have been extended to June 16. If your books already had a due date later than that, those due dates won't change, and automatic renewals will still go into effect.

To check due dates for items you've borrowed, Piper recommends that you check your library account online, available through the Library Search on the library home page. If you've never checked your account, our short tutorial video will show you how.

If you have concerns about circulation, borrowed books, or other related topics, please contact either Joyce Piper (jpiper@iup.edu) or Meghan Evanko (mevanko@iup.edu).
