Inventory additional mailing lists
You will need to make a list of any other mailing lists you have linked into your account. You can log a ticket after the migration with the name of the lists, and someone will assist linking them back in to your account.
Prepare your Contacts
Before the migration to Office 365, you will need to update any contacts in your address book. Remove/update any IUP email address that include @grove.iup.edu as part of the address.
Please note that only “Contacts” and “Personal Address Book“ will be migrated to your Office 365 account. If you have addresses outside of those two areas that you need to keep, you will need to manually move them into one of those areas.
Please follow these instructions to prepare contacts.
Prepare your calendar
Before the migration to Office 365, you will need to rename any personal calendars you may have (please note, this does NOT include calendars from other users that you have linked in, only sub-calendars of your main calendar). Only calendars that include the word “calendar” in the name will be migrated. For example, if you have an additional calendar named “Personal,” you will need to rename this to “PersonalCalendar.” If other people have access to your calendar, you will also need to take an inventory of special calendar permissions.

If you manage other mailing lists in your account, please make a note of what they are so you can place an ihelp ticket after the migration. These will all need to be manually linked back in.

If your device is university-owned, Office 365 is installed and waiting for a password. For iOS devices, go to Settings >
Accounts & Passwords > IUP Office 365 > Account and enter your network password in the password field. For Android devices, go to the Agent app, click Notifications, click the Exchange Email Password Required message, and enter your password twice.
