IT Services will join presenters from Lowes Hotels, Warner Media, Ricoh, Visa, the University of California, and the University of Colorado, among others, at the upcoming CIO Visions Virtual Leadership Summit.
IUP chief information officer Bill Balint will present on "Big Crisis, Little Crisis: Moving a 145-Year Old University Online in a Week," discussing the onset of the COVID-19 crisis and the critical decisions made in response to the monumental IT challenges it presented. This resulted in more than 3,300 synchronous meetings and classes being successfully delivered during the first six business days and over 1,800 help desk calls during the first nine business days as IUP resumed the spring semester.
Entering its eighth year, the Summit is conducted on a semi-annual basis and is being delivered in a virtual format along with the CIO Cybersecurity and Mid-Market Summits.
