Produced in 1957, The Cranes Are Flying is a landmark film that brought Russian cinema back to the international stage.

This film is presented as one of five Russian films to be shown as part of an open, informal, voluntary film course hosted by English PhD student Caroline Speller. The screening will be followed by discussion. Participate as much or as little as you like!

Attendance vouchers provided.
