Distinguished University Professors

  • Each year, the President’s Office recognizes one IUP faculty member with the Distinguished University Professor Award, choosing from a field of many exemplary faculty at IUP in an extremely competitive process.

The following list is a collection of recent recipients of the Distinguished University Professor Award from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. It is a significant point of pride that, of the 22 recipients of the Distinguished University Professor award, no fewer than 10 of these honorees hail from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
