Global Awareness Living-Learning Community

The Global AwarenessLiving-Learning Community is located in Wallwork Hall. It is home to both first-year and upper-class students, as well as a diverse mixture of both domestic and international students.

Clusters in this LLC

  • Spanish Language Cluster (formerly Piso Cervantes): This cluster is to provide a living environment where students can practice speaking Spanish and learning about Hispanic cultures by planning and participating in events and activities. Students who are native or heritage Spanish speaker and those who plan to take Spanish language classes are encouraged to live in this cluster.
  • Asian Studies Cluster: Asian Studies cluster provides students enrolled in the Asian Studies major (or having a minor in Asian Studies) with a community immersed in the Asian culture. The residential learning community will complement in-class learning by offering students a variety of co-curricular experiences designed to maximize their exposure to and understanding of Asian culture and customs.
