Parade
The 2026 Homecoming Parade is on Saturday, October 10, at 10:00 a.m. The theme is America 250-Pennsylvania-Start Here, America Did!
If your organization or business would like to participate in the parade, please fill out our Parade Unit Submission Form. Please review the Homecoming Parade Guidelines prior to submitting the form.

Crimson Court
Students interested in the Homecoming Crimson Court are encouraged to submit their names and applications for consideration. Our gender-neutral Crimson Court is comprised of seven students representing our undergraduate colleges.
The Crimson Court member represents their academic college and the university in the Homecoming Parade and at the Alumni and Friends Crimson Huddle. They’ll cheer on the Crimson Hawks as we take on rival Lock Haven and will be recognized on the football field during halftime. If you are interested in applying, candidates must be current full-time IUP students, have successfully completed 60 credits, possess a current 3.00 or greater cumulative GPA, and must not currently be under any disciplinary sanctions.
Applications are due before 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, and are submitted via Crimson Connect. There will be a candidate information meeting on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Elkin Hall Great Room. All candidates should plan to attend this meeting.
All students will have the opportunity to vote for our 2026 Crimson Court.

Crimson Huddle
The largest indoor tailgate of the year, and you’re invited!
You’re invited to join us at the Alumni and Friends Crimson Huddle. Held at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex right after the parade and before the game, it’s super convenient to attend the parade, the huddle, and the game. Enjoy a full buffet of tailgate favorites, live music, an exclusive pregame performance by the IUP Marching Band and fun giveaways. The IUP Student Ambassadors will host fun activities for children, and our mascot, Norm, will make an appearance!
