Mark your calendar: Take Back the Night 2026 is on Wednesday, April 8. Join the Haven Project to show your support for survivors of sexual assault. Let your voice be heard!image of students holding a sign that says Take Back the Night

Take Back the Night is designed to engage and empower the IUP campus and the community in raising awareness around sexual violence and prevention while supporting survivors of sexual violence and their healing process.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness month; this event is timely in promoting the message that violence is not welcome on this campus or in this community. The event will include chalking the walk, speeches, a march through campus, and a speak-out for survivors.

The purpose of these events is to support and uplift survivors while providing a space for community members to take action against violence.

Support advocates will be available at the event.
