April is Sexual Violence Awareness Month.

Join the Haven Project for a presentation on Sexual Violence.  Attendees can volunteer to assist with Take Back the Night and other awareness events in April.

Statistics from Rainn (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network)

  • Every 68 seconds an American is sexually assaulted.
  • Ages 12–34 are the highest risk years for rape and sexual assault
  • One out of every 10 rape victims are male
  • 21 percent of TGQN (transgender, genderqueer, nonconforming) college students have been sexually assaulted
