Dig deeper into economics in the Honors Track

The Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Honors Track provides a thorough preparation for a long list of careers, as well as graduate programs.

The program is open by departmental permission to economics and economics/pre-law majors with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA and a 3.25 GPA in Economics courses.

Students complete ECON 355, 356, and ECON 456, which fulfills the Liberal Studies Synthesis requirement. Students must earn at least a C in each course completed for the track.

Students should consult their advisors to determine how honors track courses will be integrated into existing requirements for economics and economics/pre-law majors. Students with multiple majors must have their "home" department in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences to be eligible for the honors track.
