Non-Credit Teaching Opportunities

The noncredit program is always looking for qualified, talented people to become instructors. If you have a skill that you would like to share with others or an idea for a course, let us know.

Please remember a few guidelines for teaching noncredit courses:

  • A noncredit course is designed to provide new knowledge or create a new skill.
  • The course may be a few hours, a one-day workshop, or a few scheduled meetings.
  • The course may be scheduled during the lunch hour, in the evening, or as a weekend course.
  • The course may be delivered on-site, such as a company workplace or at one of the IUP campuses.
  • Books should not be required.
  • The course should meet the needs of adult learners.
  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and/or ACT 48 credit can be awarded.
