Join us for The Symposium, an empowering gathering designed for all students interested in exploring contemporary women’s issues. This signature event will feature six presentations facilitated by students that highlight key conversations shaping women’s experiences today.
We are honored to welcome Malaika Turner, founder and CEO of The SpeakHer, as our keynote speaker. Turner is widely recognized for her work helping women and leaders build confidence, navigate career pivots, and develop clarity in a rapidly evolving professional landscape. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes authenticity, purpose, and the courage to “go be great,” a message she champions through her broader movement and coaching work.
In her keynote, Turner will explore how artificial intelligence can be strategically leveraged to enhance women’s careers. She will break down AI in clear, accessible terms while demonstrating how it can fuel creativity, strengthen professional impact, and open new pathways for solving problems and personal innovation. Participants will also be introduced to her “Pivot Ready” framework, a practical next step for integrating AI with one’s unique strengths and career aspirations.
Attendees can look forward to:
- A catered meal
- An affirming and supportive environment
- Networking opportunities
- Brief remarks from representatives of the President’s Commission on the Status of Women
Whether you are seeking inspiration, connection, or fresh insight into the future of women’s leadership and innovation, The Symposium offers a welcoming space to learn, grow, and engage.
