“Lift Every Voice and Sing” Presentation and Performance

The Social Equity and Title IX Office invites all members of the IUP community to this special event featuring guest lecturer Moses Phillips from Medgar Evers College, City University of New York.

Phillips will present on the reverently triumphant and patriotic song known as the Black National Anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing." The anthem will be performed that evening between the Women's and Men's basketball games (approximately 7:00 p.m.) in the KCAC. This beautiful song will be performed by the IUP Chorale, IUP Chorus, Phillips, President Driscoll, and Dean Scheib.
