New Employee Onboarding

  • IUP uses an Internet-based onboarding system, NEOGOV Onboard, which allows our new hires and rehires to quickly and easily complete, sign, and submit all payroll-related new hire documents to IUP.

    Note: At this time, student employees are not using NEOGOV Onboard, but should complete new hire forms as noted on this page.

    NEOGOV Onboard also provides our new hires or re-hires, including volunteers, with additional resources on working for IUP, such as Parking Maps, important websites to review, and access to IUP policies.

    After you have been approved for and offered a position with IUP, you will be sent e-mail instructions and access links for NEOGOV Onboard.

    After completion of your NEOGOV Onboard Forms, you have two options to present your Identification for form I9.

    Option 1:

    Present ID at Office of Human Resources, IUP Main Campus, G8 Sutton Hall

    1. Make an appointment with the Office of Human Resources before the first day of your employment with IUP through this link. At your appointment, you would need to show one selection from List A or a combination of one selection from List B and one selection of List C, as directed on Page 9 of the I9.
    2. If you check on your I-9 form that you are one of the following:
      • A noncitizen of the United States;
      • A lawful permanent resident of the United States; or
      • An alien authorized to work in the United States,
    3. Then, prior to your first day of employment, you must contact Ms. Beth Fleek in the Office of Human Resources, 724-357-2431, for employment authorization verification.

    You must also bring your Social Security card to the Office of Human Resources to be placed on the payroll.

    Option 2:

    Use Remote Hire Form as directed in NEOGOV Onboard Document Bank

    This is for new hires that cannot come in person to IUP’s Office of Human Resources. Directions for this form are located in the Document Bank of NEOGOV Onboard.
