IUP Computer Science Program Ranked Seventh in Nation by Cybersecurity Guide

Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s computer science program has been ranked seventh in the nation by Cybersecurity Guide in its 2026 Cybersecurity Guide. IUP’s program is the only program at a Pennsylvania college or university selected for the ranking of “best computer science with cybersecurity emphasis” program.

IUP’s PC4A Project Extended for Additional Year

In September 2022, IUP was awarded the largest grant in IUP history to create the PA Community College Consortium Cooperative Agreement (PC4A). For the last three years, PC4A partners have been working together to strengthen the cybersecurity workforce in our country. Based on the success of the project, PC4A has been extended for another year and will conclude in August 2026.
