Biography

Kathleen Hanrahan joined the IUP faculty in fall 1990. Her current research interests include the utility of qualitative methods in the discipline, particularly computer assisted qualitative research methods, pedagogical trends in higher education and criminology/criminal justice programs, and correctional issues. She has published in a variety of journals, including most recently the Journal of Criminal Justice Education, Qualitative Research, and The Prison Journal, and has been the recipient of university and college research awards.
