Whether in the classroom or the workspace, controversial topics come up and it's tough to know how to respond. IUP's chapter of the Difficult Dialogues National Resource Center is offering workshops to introduce you to techniques designed to foster respectful conversations about controversial issues among people with vastly different viewpoints.
This semester, we are tailoring workshops to meet the needs of your department, unit, class, or organization. The workshops are designed to offer concrete skills for talking about controversial issues with people holding different perspectives. These workshops are for all of the IUP community—students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
