Join the IUP Career and Professional Development Center and the Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement on Wednesday, 27 October at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Room in Elkin Hall for a Diversity in the Workplace Alumni Panel.

We know students and alumni need skills and experiences that aid them in contributing and creating an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace. Join us for this panel-style discussion as we bring some of our successful IUP alumni to campus for this important conversation.

Three recent IUP graduates will be serving as panelists for this event to share their experiences at IUP, their career success thus far, and advice for current students. Panelists include: Derrick Maultsby, Jr. (`17), Dr. Phillip Woods (`00, D`17), and Tishekia Williams (`02). The panel will be moderated by Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Malaika Turner.

This event is also part of the Career and Professional Development Center’s Career Ready Seminar Series, which aims to provide targeted programming to help IUP students gain and understand the necessary skills and competencies to be successful in life after graduation.

Kelsey Thompson, Associate Director of the CPDC, helped to coordinate the event, and stated  “We are excited to be partnering with the Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement once again in helping to connect our current students with all of these fantastic alumni.  They each bring a unique perspective surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and I know they are excited to share their experiences and advice with current students.  We are looking forward to a great panel and discussion on this topic.”
