The IUP Employer Relations Day, an event coordinated by the Career and Professional Development Center and originally planned for June 3, 2020, has been postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The event was created in 2014 to provide information to employers about how IUP prepares students and graduates for the workforce, while also showing appreciation for past and future recruitment.
"We recognize the importance of continuing to engage with employers to ensure we remain abreast of one another's organizational changes and opportunities as well as develop and bolster relationships," Tammy Manko, director of the CPDC, said. "Unfortunately, we need to cancel Employer Relations Day for 2020, but we remain committed to this program, so we are rescheduling it to June 2, 2021."
Organizations are welcome to register for next year's event. Additional information will be provided closer to the event.
