After graduating from IUP, Rising started at PNC as a part of the Credit Training Program. For the past 17 years he has been working his way up in various credit related roles. Currently, he serves as the senior vice president of Credit Product Groups.

Rising enjoys the opportunity to spend time with IUP students. "In credit products we are accountable for the diligence, analysis, and execution of the loan product as it relates to PNC's corporate client book.We discussed the various roles in the process and how each role contributes to executing a loan transaction. I always enjoy the opportunity to share my career history with IUP students," said Rising.

Senior accounting and finance student Kelly Kumetis reflected, "As an accounting major, I was very interested in this presentation because Rising's team works closely with accounting firms to analyze the financial statements and see where they are making or losing money. I am thankful that we can meet with successful alumni and learn about current issues in our fields."

Senior finance student James Drohan appreciated Rising's visit. "Jason's presentation opened my eyes to the many possibilities and careers with a finance degree. I really enjoyed this opportunity."
