The Haven Project, in collaboration with Pride Alliance, is sponsoring a table in the Oak Grove for Wear Purple Day/Spirit Day. Wear Purple Day is a part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, designed to increase information and show support for those who have been through abusive relationships. Spirit Day is a part of Bullying Prevention Month and is designed to increase visibility for victims of bullying, specifically in the LGBTQIA community.
Wear purple to show your support for victims/survivors of domestic/dating violence, for LGBTQIA youth, and to speak out against bullying. Visit our table in the Oak Grove for information and resources. Come wearing purple and get entered in a raffle for a $25 Co-Op Store gift certificate!
