In Fall 1963, the first students arrived on the IUP campus in Kittanning (Armstrong County) to start college.
Since then, almost 6,500 students have earned an IUP degree having been students on this campus, which is now known as the Northpointe campus. From the beginning, the IUP campus in Armstrong County has been about providing access to high-quality higher education.
In celebration of our 50th anniversary, IUP at Northpointe held a series of events and activities. Whether you were “at Kittanning” or “at Northpointe,” we hope you were able to join us regardless if you were an alumnus or alumna, a friend of the university, or a local resident.
