    Culinary students with Chef McIsaacApply here if you intend to study Culinary Arts or  Baking and Pastry. You can also use this application if you plan to combine Culinary Arts with the BS degree programs in Hospitality Management, Nutrition, or Family and Consumer Sciences. 

    High School Transcript or GED Scores

    You may submit unofficial copies of your transcript for our review of your admissions application. We will  require an official copy of your final transcript prior to starting classes.

    Postsecondary Transcripts

    Submit these if you have completed one semester or more of any postsecondary program following high school graduation. We are able to accept unofficial copies for review of your admissions application. We require an official copy of your final transcript prior to starting classes.


    • SAT/ACT scores (These may qualify you for some IUP scholarships.)
    • Personal Statement (Tell us more about yourself and your goals.)
    • Recommendations

    We will consider all optional information submitted to us when we make scholarship awards and admissions decisions.

    Submit all culinary admissions materials to IUP Culinary Admissions, 1012 Winslow Street, Punxsutawney, PA 15767 or upload them to us from your Admissions Profile.

    Your admission decision to Culinary Arts will be made within two weeks after we receive all of the required application pieces and any additional documentation requested. (An essay, recommendation, and/or entrance exam may be required if we need more information to make an admissions decision.)
