    You’ll be able to tell us on the application if you intend to continue into the culinary associate degree or a bachelor’s degree program. 

    Application Requirements

    High School Transcript or GED Scores

    An unofficial copy of your transcript will be accepted for our review of your admissions application. An official copy of your final transcript is required prior to starting classes.

    Postsecondary Transcripts

    Submit these if you have completed one semester or more of any postsecondary program following high school graduation. 

    Optional

    • SAT scores (These may qualify you for some IUP scholarships.) IUP SAT code: 2652 
    • ACT scores (These may qualify you for some IUP scholarships.) IUP ACT code: 3704
    • Personal Statement (Tell us more about yourself and your goals.)
    • Recommendations

    We consider all optional information submitted to us when we make scholarship awards and admissions decisions.

    Submit all culinary admissions materials to IUP Culinary Admissions, 1012 Winslow Street, Punxsutawney, PA 15767, or upload them to us from your Admissions Profile.

    Your admission decision to Culinary Arts will be made within two weeks after we receive all of the required application pieces and any additional documentation requested. (An essay, recommendation, and/or entrance exam may be required if we need more information to make an admissions decision.)
