IUP Vice President for Administration and Finance Debra Fitzsimons has named Anthony Clement as interim director of IUP’s Department of Public Safety and University Police. Clement will begin his work at IUP on February 17. A national search for the permanent director of the department will begin during the spring semester.
Effective February 5, Lt. Melvin Cornell has been appointed acting director of Public Safety and University Police until further notice. Lt. Cornell has been a member of the Public Safety and University Police department since 2003.
