Megan joined the board in July 2024. She currently serves on the Growth and Impact committees. Megan Baker is the founder and CEO and a strategic communications expert with more than 30 years of experience in public relations, media, and executive advisory. She delivers value through high-level counsel, crisis communications, and visionary leadership. Megan leads the agency’s strategy, growth and operations, advising executives on media training, crisis communications and reputation management. Before founding the agency, she spent a decade in broadcast journalism as a news anchor, earning a New York State Emmy and Associated Press recognition. Megan holds a degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and serves on multiple boards, including the Foundation for IUP Board of Directors, and is a member of the Albany Chapter Women Presidents Organization. She is a 2026 PR News Top Women in PR & Communications honoree, a 2025 honoree of the Albany Business Review Women Who Mean Business, 2024 Albany Business Review Power 50, 2023 Capital Region MARCOM Practitioner of the Year, and a recipient of the 2019 IUP Impact Award and the 2012 Albany Business Review 40 under Forty. Megan enjoys travel, outdoor activities, and time on the water.

Dave joined the board in July 2017 and currently serves as the president. He also serves as a member of the Executive and Audit committees and is the chair of the Governance Committee. Dave is a retired partner with Forvis LLP CPAs and Advisors and currently serves as a trustee and director for several private families and foundations. He is a 2025 recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award, a past recipient of the Eberly College of Business Outstanding Entrepreneur award, and a member of the Business School’s Hall of Distinction and its Advisory and Advancement councils. Dave currently serves on the Executive Committee of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh Board of Directors and is a past board advisor for the Baierl Family YMCA and Camps Kon-O-Kwee/Spencer.
Alexander Brown ‘06

Alex joined the Investment Committee in October 2024 and the board in July 2025. He also serves on the Finance Committee. Alex is currently the deputy chief investment officer at UPMC, a large nonprofit health system and insurance company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He leads an investment team that manages more than $9 billion across the organization’s endowment-like balance sheet, insurance reserves, and defined benefit pension plan. Alex has been with UPMC since 2006 and has broad expertise covering all traditional and alternative asset classes. He earned his bachelor of science degree in finance from the IUP Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. In addition, Alex is a chartered financial analyst and a certified public accountant.

Rich has been a member of the board since July 2007. He previously served as the president and currently chairs its restructuring committee. In addition to serving on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, Rich serves on the board of directors of JW Aluminum, The National Aviary of Pittsburgh, School Specialty, Arboris, and the advisory board of TCW Direct Lending Group, and previously served on the board of directors of Nice-Pak Industries, VPX Pharmaceutical, MotorCoach Industries, Neenah Foundries, H-D Advanced Manufacturing, Baptist Homes Society, and various other private companies. Rich is the recipient of the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he received his bachelor of science degree in accounting. Rich was one of the initial financial supporters of IUP’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Francis J. Condino

Frank joined the board in 2021 and is currently the chair of the Growth Committee and serves as a member of the Executive Committee. His prior experiences include service in the Marine Corps and various positions in education at the high school and university levels. He spent his last 30 years in the IUP Athletics Department, retiring as the director in 2015, and presently serves on the Athletic Advisory Committee and nominating board for the IUP Athletic Hall of Fame.
Susan M. Cosper ‘92

Sue joined the Foundation for IUP Board in July 2025 and chairs the Audit Committee. With over 32 years of financial reporting experience in the accounting profession, Sue was appointed as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board in 2019 and reappointed to a second term in 2024. Prior to that, she was the FASB technical director and chairman of the Emerging Issues Task Force, a role she held beginning in 2011. Prior to joining the FASB, Sue was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in PwC’s Financial Instruments, Structured Products, and Real Estate Group in New York City. She has worked in PwC offices in Florham Park, New Jersey (National Office), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and London, UK, where she served public companies, private companies, community banks, credit unions, and not-for-profits. She earned her BS in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a certified public accountant in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Nicole Gabriel ’00

Nicole joined the Foundation's Investment Committee in March 2021 and the Board of Directors and Finance Committee in July 2021. She is a financial strategist and certified financial planner professional at McKinley Carter Wealth Services in Wexford, where she partners with individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations to navigate complex financial decisions and build long-term financial confidence. Prior to joining McKinley Carter, Nicole held operations and investment management roles at BNY Mellon and a boutique investment management firm. She earned a bachelor of science in international business with a minor in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Eberly College of Business and Information Technology and an MBA from Robert Morris University.
Donna Griffith ’74, M’77

Donna joined the board in October 2021 and is the cochair of the Impact Committee and serves on the Executive and Governance committees. She has served IUP in several leadership positions over the last three decades, including as the assistant dean in the School of Graduate Studies and Research and the director of the IUP Monroeville Graduate and Professional Center. Committed to continuing her own education, Donna completed the Harvard University Management Development Program. Since 2016, Donna’s service to the university as a member of the College of Education and Communications Advancement Council kept her connected to IUP after retiring in 2011. Most recently, Donna received the IUP Award of Excellence in Volunteer Leadership-Advancement Support in 2025. She continues to apply her passion for service to a number of boards in the area. An ardent supporter of human service agencies, Donna served as the interim executive director of the United Way of Indiana County and currently serves on the boards of directors for the Alice Paul House, Indiana County Endowment, and Zion Preschool. During her professional career in higher education, Donna was appointed to the Commission on the Status of Women in the Profession for the National University Continuing Education Association, where she served on the executive board and as a member for over a decade. Donna holds an undergraduate and master’s degree and a certificate of counselor education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Susan Heck ‘76

Susan Heck joined the board in July of 2025 and brings over 40 years of healthcare experience to the role. Susan currently serves as cochair of the Impact Committee and is a member of the Executive and Growth committees. She recently retired from a position as senior vice president at Corazon Inc., where she worked since 2001. Prior to this, Susan served as vice president at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh from 1979 through 1999 in a variety of senior leadership roles. In Susan’s position as a healthcare consultant with Corazon, she applied her broad clinical and hospital finance knowledge and extensive senior-level hospital experience to projects across the country. She assisted clients with operational implementation, strategic planning, program integration and positioning, physician practice management, and clinical quality performance. Her clinical expertise focused on cardiovascular, neuroscience, and orthopedic care delivery and innovation. Susan often worked with health systems and physician practices to develop strategies to expand the clinical care continuum from academic medical centers to rural community hospitals. She understands the best ways to create hospital/physician partnerships that work in today’s changing regulatory and economically challenging climate.
In addition to her broad clinical background, her healthcare financial expertise allows her to provide a complex perspective in facilitating consensus and results related to the feasibility studies and business plans for clients. Susan applied a proven aptitude in leading projects, assuring that quality, cost, and satisfaction were managed to meet customer expectations as they implemented new services. Susan received a bachelor of science in respiratory care from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1976. She holds a master of science in health related professions from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1984, and obtained a certificate of academic achievement from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business’s Entrepreneurial Fellows Center in 2008. Susan was named to the IUP Health and Human Services’ Hall of Distinction in April of 2019 and was appointed to the Dean’s Advancement Council in that same year.
Char L. Kopchick ’73

Char joined the board in July 2022 and is a member of the Growth and Impact committees. Char is currently Ohio University’s executive director of the Campus Involvement Center. She has oversight of the functional areas of campus programming, the Performing Arts and Concert Series, leadership development, and student organizations, including sorority and fraternity life. She has been at Ohio University for the past 30 years. Prior to her appointment as executive director of the Campus Involvement Center, Char served as Ohio University’s director of health promotion. Growing up in a small coal mining town in Western Pennsylvania, Char was the first person in her family to attend college. She has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She also has a master’s degree in college student personnel from Ohio University.

Jim joined the board in July 2018. He is a past president of the board and serves on the Finance and Investment committees. Jim has more than 30 years of experience addressing highly complex financial matters in his roles as bulge-bracket investment banker, investor, financial advisor, and fiduciary. He specializes in advising boards, senior management, and other parties in high-stakes international insolvency and litigation matters, and is a former member of the Washington Mutual Inc. Liquidating Trust Advisory Board. Jim earned his bachelor of science degree in finance and accounting (double major) from IUP’s Eberly College of Business and Information Technology and his MBA with a concentration in analytic finance from the University of Chicago. Jim received the IUP Distinguished Alumni Award in 2026, was inducted into the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology Hall of Distinction in 2013, and served as student trustee on the IUP Council of Trustees from 1993 to 1995.
Andrew Longacre ’13, '19 MBA
Presto, PA
Andrew joined the board in July 2022 and serves as vice president of the board, chair of the Finance Committee, and a member of the Executive and Impact committees. He is the president and CEO of the Millennium Family of Companies, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based business that owns and operates subsidiaries involved in the energy, industrial, and heavy manufacturing industries throughout the Eastern and Central United States. Focused on specialty on-site mechanical services and industrial tooling, he has grown the business into a leading partner for many businesses critical to the infrastructure of our nation. He graduated from IUP with bachelor’s degrees in safety sciences and political sciences in 2013 and completed his executive MBA in 2019. He held senior roles at Anthony Crane USA and Terex Cranes prior to acquiring Millennium. During his time as an undergraduate at IUP, Andrew served as the student trustee on the IUP Council of Trustees from 2011 to 2013, as well as the varsity track and field team and the Student Government Association.
Susan Mann ’90

Susan joined the board in July 2021 and serves on the Audit and Growth committees and the Residential Revival Indiana Board of Directors. Susan is currently president of 1889 Foundation, Inc., a conversion health foundation that supports health and wellness initiatives in Cambria and Somerset counties in Pennsylvania. Susan has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare philanthropy and grantmaking. She helped establish the Conemaugh Health Foundation (now the 1889 Foundation) in 1993 and was named foundation president in 1997. She began her career in 1990 as a planning and development assistant for the Mercy Foundation at Mercy Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Susan is a proud IUP alumna and received her bachelor of science degree in communications in 1990. She actively serves on several boards in addition to the Foundation for IUP, including the Center for Population Health, the United Way of the Southern Alleghenies, and Vision Together. Born and raised in Johnstown, Susan shares a deep-rooted connection to the region with her husband, Tim. Susan finds immense joy in her family life, which includes two adult sons, Jacob and Tyler (IUP ’16), Tyler’s wife Hailey, and grandchildren Maggie and Oliver.
Bryan Moore ’07
West Columbia, SC
Bryan joined the board in July 2022. He serves on the Executive and Finance committees and as chair of the Investment Committee. He is the chief investment officer of the South Carolina Retirement System Investment Commission, where he oversees the investment of the state’s $57 billion defined benefit pension plan across public equities, fixed income, private equity, private debt, real assets, and hedge funds. Prior to joining RSIC in 2012, Bryan began his investment career at the Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System. Bryan earned a bachelor of science in finance, with a minor in economics, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. In 2012, he received the Eberly College Young Alumni Achievement Award and currently serves on the Advisory Council for the IUP Student Managed Investment Portfolio. Bryan is a chartered financial analyst and a chartered alternative investment analyst charterholder.
Chuck Oshurak ’98

Chuck joined the board in 2022 and currently serves on the Audit Committee. He is an assurance partner at Cohen & Company and provides specialized accounting, assurance, and advisory services to clients in both the public and privately held sectors. With over 20 years of experience, Chuck works with complex clients on diverse projects. In addition to the Foundation for IUP, Chuck serves as a board member for the Pittsburgh Entrepreneurs Forum and Literacy Pittsburgh, and he is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs. He holds a BS in accounting and a BSEd in business education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Jordan Pallitto

Jordan joined the board in 2025 and currently serves on the Governance and Impact committees. He is the chief operating officer of The Hill Group, a management consulting firm specializing in strategy development and business planning. He leads engagements across sectors, with a particular focus on nonprofit strategy, governance, and organizational effectiveness. A licensed consultant through the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations’ Standards for Excellence program, Jordan is a committed civic leader currently serving on the boards of The Pittsburgh Foundation, the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County, and the Hempfield Area Foundation. Jordan was named one of Pittsburgh Magazine’s “40 Under 40” in 2015 and was recognized nationally by Consulting Magazine as a Rising Star of the Profession in 2019. He teaches management consulting at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College, where he earned his master’s degree. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College and is completing a PhD at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Andrew Sandberg ’06

Andrew joined the board in July 2024 and serves on the Finance and Investment committees. As an undergraduate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he pursued a degree in accounting and participated in and led several student organizations, including the Student Managed Investment Portfolio, the Student Government Association, and the Accounting and Finance Associations. He was also selected to give a commencement speech representing his class for the Eberly College of Business. As a freshman, he was a beneficiary of the Foundation’s mission, receiving the Robert and Irene Bozzone Scholarship for Business. His next interactions with the Foundation were during his junior year, when he worked with the board to help establish the Student Managed Investment Portfolio in 2004, later serving as its first chief investment officer during fall 2005. After graduation, Andrew pursued careers in accounting and investment banking, working for PwC and Houlihan Lokey. He currently operates a boutique investment banking firm, Alder Mountain Capital, providing M&A and capital advisory services to middle-market companies. As an alumnus, Andrew has stayed connected with IUP through the NYC alumni chapter and NYC advancement council. He also enjoys mentoring IUP students and graduates and volunteering as a guest lecturer for the Student Managed Investment Portfolio and other finance courses.
Ashley Stoner ‘15
Arlington, VA
Ashley joined the board in July 2025 and serves on the Governance and Growth committees. She is an antitrust lawyer in the Washington, DC, office of global law firm White & Case LLP. Her practice focuses on global antitrust merger clearance, government investigations, and competition-related counseling, including joint ventures, trade association practices, information and data-sharing, integration and due diligence practices, and developments in artificial intelligence, among other topics. Ashley has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, including emerging technology, energy, oil and gas, chemicals, manufacturing, health care and life sciences, infrastructure, financial services, and private equity, among others. Ashley is a frequent author and speaker on a wide range of antitrust/competition issues. Ashley is also passionate about pro bono work, with a particular focus on criminal justice reform, education, and economic development. Ashley spearheaded White & Case’s innovative partnership with the Second Look Project, a nonprofit organization located in the District of Columbia that helps individuals obtain sentence reductions under the DC Incarceration Reduction Amendment Act. Ashley graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served on the editorial board for the Virginia Journal of International Law as well as the Virginia Law & Business Review. She also served as a Janet Steiger ABA Antitrust Fellow. During her time at IUP, Ashley served as captain of the women’s basketball team, which appeared in three NCAA tournaments, and won the PSAC Western Division title in 2015. Ashley holds a variety of school records, including scoring over 1,000 points in her career. Ashley was also class valedictorian for the English Studies Department and was nominated for the Ali-Zaidi Academic Award.
Sherry L. Ulsh ’81

Sherry joined the board in July 2023. She currently serves as secretary/treasurer of the board, cochair of the Finance Committee, and as a member of the Governance and Executive committees. Sherry L. Ulsh is the director, indirect procurement, at the Hershey Company and leads a team responsible for US and Canada strategic sourcing and procurement covering categories that include marketing/sales, real estate, construction, operations, capex, logistics, professional services, travel, and contract administration. She also leads and manages continuous improvement and margin expansion projects, delivering savings and process efficiencies. Prior to Hershey, she managed all facets of marketing and operations finance for Church’s Chicken. She started her career at Burger King Corporation and worked in a wide variety of financial roles within corporate, operations, and marketing. In addition, she held the position of executive director of the Burger King McLamore Foundation, responsible for all operations of the nonprofit organization. She is the current cochair of the Advertising and Financial Management Committee of the Association of National Advertisers. She regularly participates in a wide variety of procurement industry events as a speaker and a panelist. She has a great passion for and has been actively involved in women’s leadership and mentoring programs throughout her life. Ulsh is cochair of the Partnering on Development program for the Global Supply Chain at the Hershey Company and serves her local community through granting panels for the United Way of the Capital Region and the Fund for Women and Girls. She is also a board member and treasurer for Lynne Mitchell Foundation, Inc., an organization focused on scholarships for underprivileged Jamaican students. She has an MBA from the University of Miami and a bachelor of science (finance) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
