The School of Graduate Studies and Research invites you to explore a showcase of the high-caliber student research and creative projects, prepared for the Scholars Forum in April 2020.

Due to the COVID pandemic, the traditional in-person event at the KCAC could not occur as scheduled, but the School of Graduate Studies and Research pivoted to collect several of these projects and presentations in an online platform.

Please take a few minutes to check out these projects and congratulate the participating students on their hard work, creativity, and scholarly endeavors. A special thanks to their faculty advisors for supporting these projects and for providing excellent research and creative opportunities for students.

Plans are underway for the 2021 Scholars Forum. If safe to do so, it will again be held in-person, on-campus. However, we are tentatively planning to hold the event online, with a streamlined experience for students to showcase their work and for peers, faculty, staff, and community members to engage with the projects. Additionally, a full panel of judging and awards will be back!

Students, it's not too soon to think about a research project or creative activity that you could present this spring. Questions about the Scholars Forum? Email scholars-forum@iup.edu. Additionally, check out the Graduate Research Grant and Undergraduate Research grant for up to $1,000 to support your project. Applications are live in InfoReady Review. The fall grant deadline is November 6, 2020. Grant questions? Email bjackson@iup.edu.
