Monique Feliciano Labrador has been selected as the IUP Punxsutawney Person of Purpose for January/February 2021.
This award recognizes a student who has shown academic excellence and good work ethic and who actively participates in the classroom. The recognition reinforces the critical value of passion, persistence, and purpose in achieving meaningful success.
Award recipients are chosen from faculty nominations.
Monique was nominated by biology professor Holly Travis as being among the most outstanding in her classroom. She will recieve a $250 award.
