The Psychology Department invites you to the 2021 Psychology Day. Since the 2016 spring semester, the last Friday of classes is our collective expression of enthusiasm for psychological science, featuring invited speakers and psychology students and their mentors presenting their scholarship.

This year we will meet on Zoom on April 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dan Guera (PsyD'97) will start the day with an alumni address and share insights from 25 years of practicing clinical psychology and engaging in scholarship. The Research Keynote Address will be delivered by Erika Felix of the University of California, Santa Barbara, who will talk about community healing following a violent traumatic event (unfortunately, a topic too pertinent these days).

Our graduate and undergraduate students will present their research projects. We will also be joined by colleagues from the Educational and School Psychology Department and the Counseling Department for a panel presentation on master's degree opportunities in psychology.

Please download a detailed schedule of the day's events. Join us any time on Friday, April 30, via Zoom:
