Community Assistant Harris Receives National Recognition

Community assistant Glen Harris was recognized as the National Resident Assistant of the Month (OTM) winner for July 2010 by the National Residence Hall Honorary.

Glen Harris was a community assistant (CA) for the IUP at Punxsutawney campus during the month of July. As a CA, Glen went beyond expectations and really helped the students on the Punxsutawney campus.

The OTM program is a program within the residence halls to recognize outstanding individuals, areas, and programs. If an OTM nomination receives campus recognition, it is forwarded on for regional recognition, and then for national recognition if recognized regionally. Glen has received all three levels of recognition for an OTM in the month of July.

The National Residence Hall Honorary is the only nationwide organization that exclusively recognizes leaders in residence halls. It is considered the recognition branch of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls.
