A few of the Zink fitness members were kind enough to speak out about the fitness center and its services. Provided below are testimonials from a few of the members at the facility.
Marlene Joyce joined the fitness center in 2009 and shares that it was the “availability of the equipment and the convenience of the center” that hooked her on joining. In addition, free locker and towel service is offered with the purchase of a membership. Lora Herrick says, “this is the best deal going, you cannot beat the convenience on campus.” Linda Butler also agrees that “the convenience and attentiveness of the facility is unbeatable!”
Aside from being a wonderful workout facility, we also offer a terrific social environment. Many university employees take a break from their busy day to visit the center and work out. Two of the fitness center's most familiar faces, Dr. Al Novels, associate dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Dr. George Bieger from the Department of Professional Studies in Education work out many afternoons during the week. Each day, they help boost morale in the fitness center during their workouts, and the staff greatly appreciates their continuous dedication and great attitudes. Novels and Royden Grove both agree that the fitness center is the best kept secret and that it it also houses a great staff.
“The Zink fitness facility is a great place to work out. It has a great atmosphere with nice people,” explains Thomas Rivosecchi, a community member. At the James G. Mill Center for Health and Fitness, we truly appreciate our members, past, current, and future, which is why we encourage you to join. We provide a laid-back atmosphere and promise to keep the intimidation factor low. We will treat you with respect and help set you up with a workout program that matches your fitness/ability level and goals. Come check us out and see for yourself!
As a new member to the fitness facility at the end of the Fall 2009 semester, Spanish professor Dr. Sean McDaniel says that the friendly, helpful staff and the personal interaction hooked him. The atmosphere created at the fitness center extends beyond friendliness; it is a motivating environment to be a part of in addition to the convenient hours that cannot be beat. Dr. McDaniel also enjoys the fact that he never has to wait for equipment, and he is pleased with his individualized exercise program.
On behalf of Director Dr. Richard Hsiao, GA's Hayley MacDonald and Kayla Rorabaugh and the rest of the staff at the James G. Mill Center for Health and Fitness, we would like to invite you to become a member of our fitness family. We would also like thank all of our members for their continued loyalty and dedication. We appreciate and are honored to help provide this service to you, and we hope to continue to do so for many years to come. Without your kindness and support, this truly would not be possible. The atmosphere provided at the fitness center is unmatched, and our members, without a doubt, make it the best fitness center in the Indiana and surrounding areas!
