Dr. Seema Bharathan and Dr. N. Bharathan, Department of Biology, along with seven Biology students, have collaborated on research which was selected for presentation at the National Conferences on Undergraduate Research April 15–17, 2010, at the University of Montana.

Chosen from over 2,600 submissions, the abstracts submitted by these students displayed a unique contribution to their field of study.

Here are the abstracts submitted and the students who will be presenting at the conference:

  1. “Double-stranded (ds) RNA Profiling from Fourteen Isolates of Rhizoctonia solani
Carrie Lingle, Andrea Strein, Colleen Hassell, Deanna Belsky, Jonathan Henninger, Emiley Engbersen
  2. “Genomic Characterization and PCR Cloning of Double-stranded (ds) RNA from Rhizoctonia solani
