The need for Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) professionals in today’s workplaces continues to rise. In today’s economy however, more and more companies are insisting on being able to quantify clear roles and benefits for hiring EH&S staff and for supporting the programs they develop and implement.
The IUP and the Western Pennsylvania chapters of the American Society of Safety Engineers are hosting a conference, “Today’s Safety Professional,” to address some of these issues by bringing together experts to help facilitate the discussion. The conference is being held on Monday, March 22, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Hadley Union Building (HUB) Ohio Room.
For more information and to register for the conference, please call or e-mail either Dr. Tracey Cekada (724-357-3272 email@example.com) or Pam Ferrante (412-414-4769 firstname.lastname@example.org).
We hope you can attend!
