We are looking for the 2010 volunteer of the year! At Homecoming, October 9, 2010, the IUP Alumni Association will present a newly established award, the Award for Excellence in Volunteer Leadership. The winner will be recognized and will participate in activities throughout Homecoming weekend.
The Award for Excellence in Volunteer Leadership will be given annually to an alumnus and/or alumna in recognition of exemplary work on behalf of the IUP Alumni Association. Service to the Alumni Association may be a single act, or it may be a long record of participation and involvement. If you know an alumnus or alumna who has exhibited dedicated service to coordinating IUP reunions, regional network events, or other alumni activities, I encourage you to submit a nomination in recognition of that person’s outstanding commitment. Nominations must be submitted by May 15, and nomination forms are available on line or by calling 1-800-937-2487.
IUP Alumni Association volunteers truly make a difference in advancing your alma mater while having fun and building their own IUP networks. To get involved, visit our website.
