Dr. John A. Mueller of the Department of Student Affairs in Higher Education and 1981 alumna Dr. Raechele L. Pope have an article in the most recent issue of the Journal of College Student Development (JCSD).

Their article, “Looking Back and Moving Forward: Future Directions for Diversity Research in Student Affairs,” written with Dr. Amy L. Reynolds, was invited by the editorial board of the JCSD to be included in its fiftieth anniversary issue. The objective of this special issue is to address topic areas that constitute key domains of research and scholarship that directly relate to a wide range of areas of practice in the student affairs profession.

Writes the editor of JCSD, Dr. John Braxton of Vanderbilt University, “The articles of this special issue aptly commemorate this 50th anniversary through the power of their formulations and recommended directions for future scholarship. To be sure, these matters will occupy the research and practice communities of student affairs for years to come.”
