The Department of Nursing and Allied Health is pleased to announce results from the Education Program report from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. These results reflect NCLEX-RN quarterly and yearly pass rates.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania had a 94.4 percent pass rate for first-time test takers from July 1 to September 30, 2009. In addition, the yearly pass rate was 92.2 percent for 102 first-time test takers from October 1, 2008, to September 30, 2009.

The Department of Nursing board pass rate continues to stand higher than the Pennsylvania state average of 87.9 percent and the national average of 88.1 percent. Congratulations to the students for their success, and to the faculty and staff for their commitment to excellence and high standards in Nursing education!
