On October 30, 2009, the Library Events Team sponsored a Halloween costume party for all library employees. Everyone was encouraged to wear a costume, and administration, faculty, and staff members brought in treats for the library’s student workers. Prizes were awarded for the best costumes, and several library employees won door prizes.
The Library Events Team was formed to plan social events for the purpose of creating a positive work environment. Team members include: Patti Cornman (assistant to the dean of Libraries), Sandy Janicki (reference librarian), Portia Diaz (reference and Punxsutawney branch campus librarian), Ed Zimmerman (library technology and security manager), Judy Bouton (circulation manager), Vickie Respet (library technology and security staff member), and team leader Dr. Kelly Heider (education librarian).
