While these programs are designed to assist students who are exploring or unsure about their academic future and potential career field, there other opportunities available to students who attend. This includes discovering minors and certificate programs
that can enhance your qualifications in the future.
The Major and Career Exploration Center is a resource available for all students. It is designed to provide personal assessment resources that assist with the decision-making process associated with choosing a major or changing to a new one. Self-guided
resources are available in our Related Sites section. All are encouraged to utilize our drop-in hours. Specific questions can be emailed to mcec-explore@iup.edu.
The mission of the center is to allow students to learn more about themselves, the world of work, and see where those areas intersect.
