The IUP Libraries offers access to hundreds of thousands of electronic books, accessible through the library search and the IUP Libraries website.
Using our Library Search (right from the Library’s home page) will return both print and electronic versions of books. If you see a book that has a Check for full text link, you’re looking at an e-book! Click on the Check for full text link to get more details on where to find the e-book.
Researchers can also filter search results so that only e-books show by following two simple steps: first, search in our library catalog for the title, topic, or author you’re interested in. Then, in the right-hand column of the list of results, click on Books, and then Full Text Online.
You can also dive right into our e-book collections directly from E-Books at IUP, which lists each of our collections, as well as some collections that are temporarily free to access while we’re all online and working remotely.
As part of IUP’s work to limit the spread of COVID-19, all physical facilities of the IUP Libraries are closed at this time. Information about virtual library services and student access to computers is available at IUP Libraries During Coronavirus.
