Members of our IUP family showed just how much heart Crimson Hawks have yesterday during IUP’s third Giving Tuesday effort. Just over $10,000 was raised on the nation’s day of giving, with many donors supporting students by making their gift to the Financial
Emergency Aid Fund.
Donations for the fund provide financial support so students can continue their path to a degree at IUP. This fund has helped more than 1,700 students to do just that, and many of them have faced financial difficulty when their
PHEAA grant award was lowered or removed.
Thanks to the generosity of 98 alumni, students, friends, faculty, and staff on Giving Tuesday, more students facing the decision of stopping their progress due to their financial obligations to the university will be able to continue their growth at IUP
and imagine unlimited possibilities.
Note: The total was updated Wednesday morning.
