Save the date for December 3 to celebrate #GivingTuesday! Once again, IUP is proud to join organizations around the world for the global celebration of philanthropy this season.
This Giving Tuesday, we are inviting our alumni, family, and friends to join our efforts to provide critical financial support to IUP students who need it the most. Our goal is to reach $10,000.
Last year, 144 donors stepped up for #GivingTuesday, with many supporting the creation of the IUP Food Pantry and Help Center, which is open and located in the Suites on Pratt.
This year, you can make an impact on our students by making a gift to the Financial Emergency Aid Fund. This fund supports students in critical financial need in order to help keep them in school and working toward their degree. It will help students
continue to grow here when they can’t find another means to meet their financial obligations to the university.
Share! When you see posts about Giving Tuesday on IUP’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts, share them.
Give! You can make your own investment in IUP students during Giving Tuesday. When you do, take a moment to tell people you helped an IUP student today. Use #IUPGivingTuesday when you share.
Talk to your students! Tell them how important volunteering in the community is. Let them know about Pick Your Passion, a new student giving project. The first 1,000 students who make gifts of $5 or more will be matched with an additional $10 gift
from alumnus Terry Serafini ’61. Students are well on their way to meeting this challenge at nearly 800 donors so far.
