On Monday, November 18, area small business owners
interested in selling their goods and services in the federal marketplace attended a free federal contracting and certification seminar at IUP at Northpointe. The US Small Business Administration’s Western Pennsylvania Deputy
District Director Regina Puzausky and Business Opportunity Specialist David
Pinkosky discussed the agency’s requirements and application process for its
six contracting programs.
Representatives from the Indiana
University of Pennsylvania Procurement and Technical Assistance Center and
the Armstrong County Planning and Economic Development Office joined
Pinkosky and Puzausky for the half-day, hands-on workshop. In addition to SBA’s program, the
Commonwealth has numerous contracting and certification opportunities which were also discussed.
