Seeking Nominations for IUP Award of Excellence in Volunteer Leadership

The Division of University Advancement is now accepting nominations for the IUP Award of Excellence in Volunteer Leadership. Recipients of this award (one for each category) will be honored at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Saturday, April 4, 2020.

You may nominate an individual(s) for their exemplary work on behalf of the university in the following areas:

  • Affinity Service: Recognizes a volunteer who engaged alumni through reunions, departmental, or college activities
  • Advancement Support: Recognizes a volunteer who continually inspires others to give their time and treasures to advance IUP
  • Regional Impact: Recognizes a volunteer who champions IUP in their region by engaging alumni through events, supports recruitment efforts, or provides internship/employment opportunities
  • Aspiring Alumni Award: Recognizes outstanding initiative by a graduating senior working to inspire students to be active in the life of the university

Nominees should exhibit exceptional volunteer work on behalf of IUP. Service to IUP may be a single act or it may be a long record of participation and involvement. Alumni and friends may receive this award more than once. Deadline for nominations is December 30. Supplemental information may be included with the nomination form.
