Sondari Publishes Article on Translingual English Teacher Identity

Parawati Siti Sondari (PhD student, English Composition and Applied Linguistics) has published an article in the 'Nonnative' English Speaker Teachers (NNEST) Newsletter, an interest section of the TESOL International Association.

“"From Dichotomy of NEST and NNEST to Translingual Orientation: A Reflection of Varying Degrees of Contact with Privileges NNESTS and NESTS in the Indonesian Context” appears as a featured article in the November 2019 issue of NNEST Newsletter. In this article, Sondari reflects on and theorizes her English teaching experience to demonstrate her journey away from dichotomous understandings of native and nonnative ideologies and towards a realization of her own translingual teacher identity.
