The mandatory annual training for all returning/continuing employees and university-related personnel on the Sexual
Discrimination-Sexual Misconduct and Protection of Minors policies is now available through D2L. This refresher course is the new method of meeting the training requirement for those who have previously completed the EverFi/Lawroom trainings at least once in their IUP careers. All new hires are still required to complete the Lawroom courses.
Participants will not receive individualized
emails containing a link. As detailed in bulk emails and other marketing, there is a 30-day deadline to
complete the training, and certificates of completion will be available to print
and show to supervisors as requested. It is an expectation that all supervisors
of student workers will track their students’ completion.
There are two training modules (Sexual Discrimination-Sexual
Misconduct Policy and Protection of Minors Policy), and both must be completed. Each consists of a
presentation, quiz, and related practice exercises and job aids. The review of
the two presentations and successful completion of the two quizzes are
mandatory. Participants are highly encouraged to view the other components, as
they are a good review of employee and affiliate responsibilities as related to these two
