Professional Development Center on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
in the Elkin Hall Great Room for their upcoming program, “Where You Lead, I Will
Follow: Leadership 101,” presented by Tammy Manko, director
of the CPDC. This event is part of the CPDC’s
Career Ready Seminar Series, which aims to provide targeted events to help IUP
students gain and understand the necessary skills and competencies to be
successful in life after graduation.
Students who attend will learn
not only what leadership truly means but also what it takes to be an effective
leader and the impact it can have on one’s career success. Tammy Manko is excited to be able to talk to
students about this relevant and important topic. “We know from our experience with employers
that they seek eight primary skill sets and among those is leadership,” Manko
