Please consider participating in the State Employee Combined Appeal (SECA) that will end on Friday, October 25, 2019.
If every one of our employees would give just one dollar per pay, we could raise more than $30,000 by Friday for community programs (including all the communities across our state).
While many of us already give to charities in our community, this is a chance for IUP employees to come together and provide additional support to one or several of the charities that can use our help for the coming year.
There are so many people in need—so many people that we can impact in a positive way. There are also EarthShare programs that you can give to that help protect and preserve our environment.
We are sure that there is at least one organization in the list of 1,000 that has a personal meaning for you.
“Last year, more than 70 employees raised almost $27,000,” Michelle Fryling, SECA 2019 chairperson, said. “We’ve got a long way to go to meet that total for this year, but I believe that the IUP community will step up and help our friends, neighbors, and our communities.”
General information about SECA and information on participating agencies and methods to pledge can be found at the SECA “We Can Do It! Make the pledge, make a difference” website and the following links:
SECA provides several ways to make a tax-deductible contribution to the charity(ies) of your choice: payroll deduction, check, money order, or credit card.
Supporting charities through payroll deduction makes giving easier and less painful.
