Things To Know: IUP Homecoming Concert 2019

These are the important things to know for the 2019 Homecoming Concert on 10.3.19.  All items are highlighted in the main news post text.STATIC presents DaBaby, Lil Mosey, and Polo G, live in concert, to kick off IUP’s Homecoming celebrations on Thursday, October 3, at the Kovalchick Complex. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Both I-Card and public tickets are still available. I-Card tickets can be purchased in person at the KCAC Box Office and are $20 (plus a $2 KCAC facility fee). Tickets for the general public can be purchased in person at the KCAC Box Office or online and are $40 (plus all applicable fees).

To prepare for Thursday’s show, STATIC, the Kovalchick Complex, and the Office of Public Safety want our guests to know the following:

  • The following items are prohibited in the KCAC: food and beverages, alcohol and drugs, weapons, knives, selfie sticks, professional cameras, video cameras, vape pens, and lighters. No bags, purses, or backpacks permitted. No exceptions.

  • Everyone will go through electronic screening. Please be prepared for processing, and bring as few personal items with you as possible.

  • There is a no reentry policy at the KCAC. No exceptions.

  • Arrive early. If you want to get into the KCAC by the time the show begins at 8:00 p.m., plan on arriving before 7:00 p.m. when the doors open.

  • There are two entrances into the KCAC: the doors facing Miller Stadium and the Field House, and the doors facing Wayne Avenue. Guests will be directed to form lines at both entrances, regardless of having floor or 100-level tickets.

  • Will-call opens at 10:00 a.m. on the day of the show.

  • All floor tickets are standing room only.

  • All 100-Level tickets are general admission, and seats are available first-come, first-served. Please be sure to fill in all seats. Staff will ask you to move if needed.

Additionally, please note that sections of Pratt Drive immediately surrounding the Kovalchick Complex will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic on Thursday, October 3, and Friday, October 4, to help ease pedestrian congestion as guests enter the venue. Pay close attention to university police officers and other staff, as well as directional signage, to avoid these areas.
